Financial Data Analyst for AI SaaS Start-up
Contract 6 months (possible Temp to Hire)

San Francisco – but remote role indefinitely
The incumbent will be responsible for pulling, inspecting, cleaning, and modeling data, and providing an additional layer of control to support critical business processes.
Keys:
- Candidate should have a customer-facing personality and comfortable reaching out to others in the organization to extract data
- Strong knowledge of Google Sheets and Excel –advanced level including macros, pivot tables, v-lookup, etc.
- Knowledge of SQL, Looker, and Google Data Studio a plus
- Solutions-driven. The candidate should have ideas on how to make improvements
- Having a sense of humor is a strong plus
- 2 years minimum experience as data or financial analyst
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Should be flexible to start work 7:30 or 8am PT to cover multiple international locations- hours are flexible

Job Responsibilities:
- Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining databases/data systems.
- Identifying, analyzing, and interpreting trends or patterns in data sets. Filtering and “cleaning” data by reviewing reports and performance indicators ·
- Streamlining data collection and analyzation processes where applicable to provide accurate insights into business performance ·
