Job Description

We're looking for a Commercial Lines Insurance Processor to join our growing agency.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Perform clerical tasks which involve updating policy detail in the agency management system, processing and transacting

• Communicate with CSR on any errors or corrections which need to be made

• Creates agency bill invoices

• Processes new business, renewals, endorsements and audits; both agency and direct bill

• Sets priorities and manages workflow to ensure efficient, timely and accurate processing

• Interacts with others effectively by utilizing good communication skills, cooperates positively and provides information and guidance, as needed, to contribute to the agency

• Maintains an updated procedure manual

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Must hold a High School Diploma or similar educational course

• NYS Property/Casualty license preferred

• Ability to carry out complex tasks

• Ability to utilize computer programs and the Agency Management System

• Need to be a team player who is a self-starter

• Excellent organizational skills and be detail oriented

• Data entry skills

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Be able to produce a high volume of work with speed and accuracy

• Fast paced multi-tasking environment
