Join us as a Emotional Support/Life Coach providing direct care support for a vibrant 62-year-old woman who is a proud advocate within the Disability Community. As a recent amputee and newcomer to the Trooper, PA area, she’s eager to regain her independence, and you’ll be her guiding star! You'll be her partner in rediscovering everyday joys—whether it's navigating her home, whipping up a delicious meal, or exploring her new neighborhood.

Here’s what’s in store for you:

• Emotional Support/Life Coach starting at $25/hr

• Part-time-8 hour shifts, alternating every 3rd weekend

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is kind-hearted, fun, and brings a calm, positive vibe

• Loves cats (bonus points for being a cat whisperer!)

• Has experience and is comfortable with providing personal care support, when needed

• Enjoys thinking on their feet and solving everyday challenges

• Has reliable transportation and open to driving in or around Philadelphia, after dark, or other varying distances

• Is motivated by helping someone achieve independence and grow!

Your role:

• Be an everyday superhero, providing guidance on life skills like decision-making, community mobility, and self-care

• Support her diabetes management and personal care

• Help her embrace her strengths and take on new challenges

• Work with a supportive team to ensure her safety and success

What you bring:

• Must have 4 year degree in Psychology, Recreation Therapy, Education/Special Education, or Registered Behavior Tech or NADD Certificate

• At least 6 months of experience in amputee care and working with diabetes

• A genuine love for empowering others and a joyful, respectful attitude
