JOB SUMMARY: The Operations Manager supports the Branch Manager in leading and managing a team of recruiters and sales managers and is responsible for assisting in growing and supporting a successful branch. The Operations Manager should have a proven success that drives the team to grow its revenue, market share and profit. The Operations Manager assists in maintaining client relationships by building rapport with clients and through the management and directing a team of recruiter’s (as their direct reports). In addition, they are to support the Branch Manager in growth of the business through account management of all existing accounts, either by doing on their own or through recruiters. The Operations Manager will work hand in hand with the sales managers to help drive new business by generating sales leads through the recruiting team’s interview process. The success of this position requires a highly motivated individual, who successfully supports other leaders and can adapt to the ever-changing business, while maintaining focus.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: • Leads and manages a recruiting team toward successful results: order fulfillment rates, strong recruiting practices, compliance, and growing the client base. • Supports branch manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations in office, while ensuring a high level of service, sales and professionalism are offered to clients and staff. • Creates and enforces recruiting strategies as the market changes to ensure fulfillment goals and branch growth. • Utilize recruiting and social media platforms, job posting, job fairs, and networking events to build a pool of candidates to ensure client orders are being filled in a timely manner. • Ensures that office is compliant in all federal, state and local regulations and company policies and procedures by managing applicant process. • Maintain contact with top clients to ensure client satisfaction and drive account growth. • Oversee on-site account operations for branch. • Knowledge and detailed understanding of accounts being supported by the branch which includes: Contractual expectations, compliance, bill rates, fulfillment, etc. • Tracks and maintains PPE and other client supplies if applicable. • Adheres to and enforces all company policies and procedures and communicates, implements within the branch. • Assist Branch Manager in review and management of all invoicing and clients are within their contractual payment terms. Operations Manager Job Description 04.20.20 • Oversees risk management policies are being followed. • Assists in ensuring staff has been fully trained on processes and operating system. • Ensures reporting for operations and sales to upper management are completed accurately and when required.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: • High School Diploma/GED required. • Experience in sales, recruiting/hiring and staffing required • Manufacturing/Production environment experience (desired, but not required.) • Proficient with Microsoft Office (MS Office, Excel, PPT and Word).
ABILITIES & KNOWLEDGE: • Must have strong client relations and customer service skills. • History of growing and retaining a pool of candidates/employees. • Strong problem-solving and Team-Building skills. • Driven and Self-Motivated. • Strong verbal, written communication, and presentation skills; including ability to communicate with all levels within the organization. • Bilingual (desired, but not required). • Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics. • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles. • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative. • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems. • Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
