PEOPLE COMPLIANCE COORDINATOR

We are seeking a highly detailed People Compliance Coordinator.  This position will be located in Knoxville, TN.  The Compliance Coordinator is responsible for managing and maintaining compliance with federal and state employment laws for the largest light-industrial staffing company in the United States.  If you are detail-oriented individual who loves working in a fast-paced environment and helping to change people’s lives, then we are the company you have been searching for!

YOUR OPPORTUNITY:

• Responsible for the management of the internal Help Desk and responds to compliance-related requests such as I-9 and E-Verify, ICE Audits, reporting, PII, etc.
• Acts as subject matter expert for all questions relating to I-9 and E-Verify, including List A documentation.
• Conducts investigations into allegations of identity theft and follows internal processes and procedures when determine the outcome.
• Generates and distributes quarterly audit reports, providing guidance and support for the field to maintain compliance.
• Manages deadlines and provides coaching and guidance to field leadership to ensure quality and timely audit engagement deliverables.
• Identify the need for, develop and facilitate departmental training material/updates.
• Fosters relationships with vendor partners.

YOUR ATTRIBUTES:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Management
• 1-2 YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE SPECIALIZING IN FORM I-9 AND E-VERIFY
• INTERMEDIATE MICROSOFT EXCEL SKILLS AND THE ABILITY TO CREATE AND MANIPULATE REPORTS AND DATA.
• Ability to successfully manage multiple, competing priorities/task in a fast-paced work environment.
• Responsiveness and a sense of urgency.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational, time management skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions and solve problems.
• Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion.
• Comprehension of corporate responsibility efforts and policy.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written, required.
