JOB SUMMARY
Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture? As an Employee Relations Manager you will be accountable for the design, development and implementation of the company’s employee relations, compliance and HR training programs for the Trexis company. By acting as a consultant to management at all levels, the incumbent ensures that the company complies with all applicable state and federal employment laws in all its dealings with employees. This position is responsible for developing, promoting and delivering employee relations programs which enhance the company’s position as an employer of choice.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement HR strategies for Trexis that align with corporate policies and practices. ·
Promote corporate values that shape a positive culture within the Trexis Operations. ·
Assist Trexis management in the annual performance review process to ensure all reviews are completed on time and meet company standards. ·
Provide leadership and guidance to the HR team for communication and advising in areas such as compensation, benefits, recruitment/retention, onboarding, time keeping, temporary, and all related invoice reconciliation and payments, personnel files, company culture, and educational training that provides value to the organization. ·
Develop and maintain relationships with all levels of management, which results in a collaborative and consultative approach to employee performance management, thus assuring that all employees are dealt with professionally, ethically, and legally. ·
Direct HR training activities that assure employees throughout the company are aware of and comply with HR policies and procedures, which develop and maintain awareness on the part of supervisors of applicable employment laws and regulations, and which highlight the value of the company’s benefits programs.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in Human Resources and/or Business Administration·
8 years of experience in all areas of human resources (including 5 years of demonstrated Leadership experience). ·
SHRM Certification preferred. ·
Exceptional critical thinking skills and excellent communication skills. ·
Excellent computer skills with MS Office 365, spreadsheet experience. HR Software experience preferred.
Must be familiar with human resources practices, including benefits, compensation and pay structures, recruitment, disciplinary procedures, employee relations, and multi-state employment laws and compliance.
Must have outstanding interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, capacity to juggle many tasks in fast-paced environment, familiar with managing multi-site operations, and demonstrated management skills.
