We have a nationwide practice with offices in Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan, Texas, and North Carolina. We are currently seeking an Attorney for our Independence, Columbus, and Cincinnati, Ohio offices. Key qualifications for this role include strong client engagement skills, excellent communication, empathy, and a strong work ethic. We welcome applications from all licensed attorneys, regardless of GPA or experience. While experience in employment law is a plus, it is not a requirement. Responsibilities: • Meet with clients to discuss their claims • Assess cases involving discrimination, sexual harassment, FMLA, overtime disputes, and wrongful termination • Manage the claims procedure and litigation process efficiently • Participate in negotiations for settlements • Maintain regular communication with staff and managers to coordinate appointments and discussions • Prepare necessary legal documents such as notice of claims, EEOC charges, and state charge forms • Collaborate with EEOC investigators to provide evidence and support for cases Qualifications: • The position of an Employee's Rights Attorney in Independence, OH, US requires a Juris Doctorate for consideration • Candidates should either possess a current license to practice law or be in the process of awaiting Ohio bar results • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential attributes for the ideal candidate for this role • A crucial requirement for this position is the ability to demonstrate empathy towards clients • Advanced time management skills are necessary for effectively multitasking, organizing, and prioritizing work Compensation: $65,000 - $95,000 yearly
