Responsibilities: • Meet with clients to discuss their claims • Assess cases involving discrimination, sexual harassment, FMLA, overtime disputes, and wrongful termination • Manage the claims procedure and litigation process efficiently • Participate in negotiations for settlements • Maintain regular communication with staff and managers to coordinate appointments and discussions • Prepare necessary legal documents such as notice of claims, EEOC charges, and state charge forms • Collaborate with EEOC investigators to provide evidence and support for cases Qualifications: • The position of an Employee's Rights Attorney in Independence, OH, US requires a Juris Doctorate for consideration • Candidates should either possess a current license to practice law or be in the process of awaiting Ohio bar results • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential attributes for the ideal candidate for this role • A crucial requirement for this position is the ability to demonstrate empathy towards clients • Advanced time management skills are necessary for effectively multitasking, organizing, and prioritizing work Compensation: $65,000 - $95,000 yearly
