You’ve fought in California courts. You know what’s at stake. You’ve seen business owners blindsided by employment claims. You’ve seen how the wrong advice—or no advice—can cost them everything they’ve built. You also know the power of having the right attorney by your side. At JDS Law, we are the attorneys for hard-working California employers. We don’t just react—we protect, prevent, and position clients for success. And we’re looking for another fighter to join our team in Temecula, California, a charming wine-country city just 1 hour from San Diego and Orange County and 2 hours from Los Angeles. Here, you can still litigate, strategize, and deliver exceptional results—while making it home for dinner, enjoying a Saturday morning hike, or spending an afternoon at a vineyard. We offer a team culture built on collaboration, respect, and growth—not competition. Responsibilities: We’re hiring an Employment Attorney with 2+ years of experience litigating California employment law (plaintiff or defense side). You’ll handle everything from strategic counsel to courtroom advocacy—backed by a dedicated team so you can focus on results, not admin. • Advise and defend California employers in matters involving state labor and employment laws. • Represent clients in court, mediations, and depositions. • Draft and tailor employment agreements, policies, and compliance documents. • Lead legal strategy with the support of a dedicated team so you can focus on advocacy, counsel, and results. Our expectation: High-quality work, not endless hours. Full-time attorneys meet a target of 1,450 billed and collected hours annually with a reasonable caseload of meaningful work—enough to keep your skills sharp without owning your weekends. Origination is not required, but is rewarded. Qualifications: Who You Are: • An active CA Bar member in good standing. • Skilled in state employment law and litigation (federal experience a plus). • Ethical, driven, and ready to make a measurable impact. • Collaborative, pro-active, and growth-minded. Compensation: $125,000 - $175,000 yearly
