Setareh Law Group is seeking an experienced paralegal to support its plaintiff-side employment litigation practice. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with wage and hour, wrongful termination, and PAGA matters in California state and federal courts.

Responsibilities

Assist attorneys with employment cases from intake through resolution or trial.

Draft and prepare pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, motions, and court filings.

Organize and review documents, employment records, and damages information.

Track deadlines, coordinate depositions and hearings, and maintain case files.

Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and vendors.

Support settlement preparation, mediation, and trial.

Qualifications

Substantial experience as an employment litigation paralegal, preferably in a plaintiff-side practice.

Experience with wage and hour, wrongful termination, and PAGA cases.

Familiarity with filing procedures and litigation deadlines in California state and federal courts.

Strong writing, organization, and attention to detail.

Ability to manage competing deadlines and work closely with attorneys and legal staff.

Meets California’s qualifications for work as a paralegal.
