Our client, a boutique employment law firm, is seeking a skilled and motivated **** Employment Litigation Attorney to represent employees. The ideal candidate is passionate about employee rights, thrives in a litigation-focused practice, and is comfortable managing cases from intake through resolution. Ideal candidate will have:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active license and good standing with the [CA] Bar
- Proven litigation experience, including motion practice and discovery
- Experience appearing before administrative agencies
- Excellent written and oral advocacy skills
- 5+ years of experience
- Trial and arbitration experience
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Represent employees in employment law matters, including wage and hour, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and whistleblower claims
- Handle all phases of litigation, including case evaluation, pleadings, written discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation
- Draft and argue motions, including dispositive motions and discovery motions
- Conduct mediations, settlement negotiations, and court appearances
- Communicate regularly with clients and provide strategic legal advice
- Stay current on developments in federal, state, and local employment laws
