Billable hour target: 1500 hours or equivalent revenue [Note: ELS is moving away from the billable hour and toward value-based, flat fee billing!] Compensation: $127,000, which includes a $1,000 monthly bonus for achieving defined KPIs. Responsibilities: • Draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and responses, on behalf of agencies • Prepare memos, letters, and updates on case status • Handle drafting and responses to discovery requests • Conduct and defend depositions • Represent clients in various legal proceedings, mediation, and administrative hearings • Assist in conducting investigations related to workplace matters • Supervise and delegate tasks to paralegals, law clerks, and legal assistants • Support The Firm's business development, marketing efforts, and administrative tasks as needed • Record billable hours daily Qualifications: • To be considered for this position, candidates must possess a valid license to practice law in Georgia • A minimum of two years of civil litigation experience at a law firm is required, preferably with a focus on employment law and federal court cases • Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality work for business clients, including in-house counsel • Strong networking skills are essential for engaging with colleagues and community members to enhance the Firm's and Team's reputation • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust and rapport with team members at all levels are necessary • The ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively, meet deadlines, and produce quality work is crucial • Candidates should be eager to participate in the Firm's business development initiatives • Thriving in a flexible, autonomous, and accountable work environment within a small firm setting is important • Valuing hands-on learning opportunities provided by a small firm environment is highly encouraged Compensation: $127,000 yearly
