    Job Description

    JOB SUMMARY:

    The Construction Project Accountant will be responsible for assisting project teams on multiple jobs. This includes coordinating resources, equipment, meetings, information, etc. The Project Coordinator must be extremely organized, detail oriented, and maintain a high level of accuracy. The Project Accountant has strong communication skills and interfaces well with project managers, customers, vendors, and other co-workers.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Generating and sending out billings and statements

    · Processing all invoices and payments

    · Collect and verify all lien releases from subcontractors on projects

    · Performing account and job reconciliations

    · Identify and resolve billing issues on projects

    · Help produce monthly financial reports

    · Review the accounts receivable aging weekly

    · Notify customers of delinquent accounts and obtain payment status

    • Supports project managers and management as it relates to the analysis of tracking construction expenses.
    • Prepares assigned data reports and analysis to management.
    • Provides job cost analysis for construction projects.

    MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

    · Real Estate Construction Industry experience required

    · Strong verbal and written communication skills

    · Ability to prioritize tasks

    · Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills

    · Computer knowledge and efficiency - Microsoft Office / Yardi desired
