Job Description
AHRC New York City is seeking a full-time Employment Skills Instructor to support young adults with disabilities as they build workplace readiness and develop vocational skills through hands-on internship rotations. This position is primarily based at a hospital in New Hyde Park on the Queens/Long Island border , providing on-the-job training, coaching, and individualized support to help interns prepare for competitive employment.
About the Role
Interns typically finish their day around 2:00 p.m. , after which the instructor will either continue providing job coaching in the Queens area. **** Travel to the AHRC office in Long Island City (LIC) office is expected approximately twice a month to complete documentation and other required tasks.
