Education:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field (business, marketing, organizational leadership, education, vocational psychology, social services) and
one year experience as a human resource recruiter, benefits coordinator, project manager, or other equivalent job placement organization.

Experience:

• Proficient with MS office suite & Adobe products
• General administrative skills
• Previous army or National Guard relevant experience preferred.

Responsibility & Functions:

OpEx Solutions, Inc. is accepting resumes for Career and Employment Counselors to work on a government contract for the Tennessee Army National Guard.

· Coach, mentor and advise individual Service Members or dependents in researching, selecting, planning, entering, developing and or/changing careers.

· Coordinate with Units, and Major Commands to implement and administer a comprehensive program.

Coach, mentor and advise Service Members in determining realistic career goals, analyzing individual skill sets, identifying education needs, resume building and using job search tools to acquire employment.

· Interpret Career assessments to determine if additional technical or job skill training is needed.

Attend Yellow Ribbon and Family Readiness training workshops.

Job Type: Full-time
