    We are currently seeking a BSA Officer to join our team in Wichita, KS. This role will be responsible for the administration of, leading, and enhancing all aspects of Emprise Banks overall bank compliance as it relates to Bank Secrecy Act, Office of Foreign Assets Control, and Anti-Money Laundering programs.

    Essential functions of the role:

    • Manage the BSA/OFAC/AML program, including all BSA-related policies and procedures, and serve as companywide subject matter expert
    • Prepare the annual BSA/OFAC risk assessment and quarterly and annual reports to board of directors
    • Monitor suspicious activity through internal reporting, investigations, and documentation
    • Oversee corrective action completed by management to address BSA/AML/OFAC related deficiencies, assist with implementation of corrective action when necessary and conducting follow-up validation reviews to determine the adequacy and effectiveness of action taken
    • Maintain current awareness of laws, rules, regulations, and issues relating to BSA, AML, and OFAC as appropriate, and analyze changes for impacts to bank and communicate as appropriate
    • Lead the high-risk account monitoring process, including maintaining written procedures for high-risk customer reviews and monitoring, SAR filing and reporting, and directly respond to inquiries
    • Identify and review all BSA related operational risks associated with new activities or products and ensure that the banks infrastructure and internal controls in place are adequate to manage related risks prior to commencing new activities or products
    • Responsible for the maintenance of Banks Customer Information Program, including making determinations on legal documents and other documentary evidence of clients identity
    • Work across all areas of the bank to identify and mitigate BSA/AML/OFAC risk and develop training as needed
    • Other duties as assigned within the scope of responsibility of the job

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelors degree OR level of education together with financial regulatory compliance experience that enables the applicant to meet the job requirements
    • 5+ years banking experience required
    • 5+ years experience of BSA/AML experience required
    • Team leadership experience in BSA, USA Patriot Act, Money Laundering Control Act, OFAC regulations, policies, and laws required
    • Proficiency with larger server-based applications and typical desktop software required
    • Proficiency in business deposit, lending systems, and bank technology preferred
