En Route Burger is now the resident food truck for Erin's Bar. It will be parked permanently in the Erin's Bar parking lot, located at 6306 N. Mesa St. in El Paso, Texas, beginning February 25, 2020. We are looking for cooks and servers to serve food to our customers at En Route's al fresco area as well as Erin's Bar. All potential candidates must be efficient and have strong customer service skills. Cook's job duties: - Will be responsible for turning equipment on, in preparation for opening times. - Will be responsible for preparing all food items as directed, in a sanitary and timely manner. - Follow recipes and presentation specifications. - Operate standard equipment safely and efficiently. - Clean station daily at end of shift. - Assist with organization of food truck. - Restock items as needed throughout shift. - Ensure food is stored and cooked at correct temperature. - Ensure freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items and rotating stock. - Must be able to follow safety rules and standard operating procedures. - MUST have a food handlers license. Servers: - Wait on customers promptly. - Take/serve orders. - Ensure presentation of food is according to specifications. - Restock condiment station as needed. - Bus tables as needed. - Knowledge of credit card system preferred. - Serve and treat our customers to the highest standard of customer service. - Be able to multi-task. - Must have food handlers license. En Route Burger will be open every day, Monday-Thursday 5:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday 5:00 p.m.- 2:00 a.m., and Sunday 11:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m. Closing times may vary depending on customer demand. For cooks only; all shifts will begin 1 hour earlier than the regular opening time for that particular day except for Sundays, which will be 30 minutes before. The days of the week will be divided into two groups, Group A will work Monday-Thursday, Group B will work Friday, Saturday and Sunday. However, we would work with you in trying to accommodate your schedule, if possible. We have a few part time positions open now.
