Job Description

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan and drive Data Networking product got-to-market. Own the product strategy & positioning.
• Develop creative demand generation campaigns and work closely with sales, channel, and marketing teams on enabling and tracking lead generation and qualification efforts.
• Market and competitive analysis. Understand market trends, articulate and drive marketing strategies.
• Develop value propositions and provide core contents for marketing collateral.
• Engage with key decision makers within existing and future customer accounts to understand their needs and market timing. Build relationships in the market and with customers.
• Work closely with sales organization to develop tier pricing, service fees, advertising, merchandising and promotional campaigns.
• Strong business and market development skills and ability to develop new business and market.
• Product line forecasting and inventory planning/management.
• Serve as an external spokesperson for key business-class Data Networking products and solutions.
• Develop detailed business requirements that can be used to create product specifications and architecture for each feature set.
• Travel as necessary.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of Product Line Management experience. Data Networking domain expertise is highly preferred.
• BS or MS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong grasp of marketing program planning, execution, and evaluation.
• Strong knowledge in networking protocols.
• High intellectual horsepower and technical aptitude; capable of quickly grasping new technologies and translating technology language into marketing messaging.
• Detail oriented and well-organized proven ability to establish priorities and achieve results. Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Track record of managing a complex product portfolio in a cross-functional environment.
• Strong leadership skills to influence and drive multiple teams toward a common vision and goal
• Strong presentation and public speaking skills for both technical and non-technical audiences. Excellent written communication and presentation skills are required.
• Strong analytical skills and natural predisposition toward data-driven decision making.
