Responsibilities:

Experienced with optical simulation, including FDTD, BPM, FEM

Experienced with optical test methods, including Mueller Matrix based optical chip testing, and the analysis of large datasets.

Has solid understanding of the operation of AWGs, Mach Zehnder interferometers, coherent optical hybrids.

Able to design the above components, as well as guiding the design through fabrication, testing, and packaging.

Programming experience, preferably in Python

Experienced with Git

Interested in working in a fast-paced team environment.

Requirements:

Ph.D. degree in Physics or Electrical Engineering or a similar field, with a focus on an optical technology or application.

5 years minimum work experience in the field of photonics.

Applicants preferring work at the Fremont, California office must be US Citizens.
