    Are you an experienced and certified dental assistant with a commitment to positive patient experiences? If so, we’d love to talk with you. Our busy dental practice in North East Austin is growing, and we need someone who can provide high-quality dental services to our clients and assist our dentists and dental hygienists with examinations and dental procedures. Our ideal candidate has 2 or more years of dental practicing experience, a current CDA/RDA license, and excellent customer service, organization, and communication skills. Responsibilities: • Master functionality of dental software programs, including but not limited to OpenDental, BlueNote, XDR Imaging, Modento, Jarvis, ITERO Scanner, Pano, Digital Xrays, and Nomad • Prepare rooms for procedures, maintain cleanliness and organization of room and equipment, and clean up each operatory room after each procedure • Update all notes of the doctor’s diagnosis during exams and treatment • Maintain full stock of all procedure and treatment bins • Treating every patient with compassion and keeping the Enamel way, comfort & humor at the forefront of appointments • Maintaining 100% HIPAA and OSHA compliance with office technology • Chairside competency in assisting with all general dentistry procedures, including Sedation, Veneers, Crowns, Surgery, and Implants • Arriving 15 minutes early every day for the morning huddle to start the day off on a positive & motivational note! • Coronal polishing and fluoride application • Measure and document vital signs and medical history for patient records, take x-rays of patients’ mouths and apply a topical anesthetic for dental procedures if needed • Help dentists and dental hygienists during procedures or examinations by providing suction, handing off dental instruments, and ensuring chair-side accessibility to the team • Welcome patient and explain dental care treatment plans so they feel comfortable during their appointment • Adhere to all dental office infection control policies and safety regulations by disinfecting and sterilizing all equipment and instruments after use • Provide postoperative instructions with methods for infection control of the patient's teeth and gums after procedures, answer any questions they may have about dental hygiene, and schedule appointments for patient care follow-up Qualifications: • Certification or Associate’s Degree from a college or technical school training program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation is required • Superb interpersonal skills, customer service, organization, and excellent communication skills are desired • Must possess a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) certificate or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) state licensure by the Dental Assisting National Board's (DANB) • 3 years of previous experience in general dentistry or oral surgery experience • Current DA license and up-to-date BLS/CPR certification • Experience with Open Dental a plus • Proficient computer skills/ tech savvy • Reliable transportation to and from work • Being bilingual in Spanish is a plus Compensation: $22 to start
