Responsibilities: • Examine the patients’ teeth thoroughly using diagnostic tools, procedures, and instruments to spot signs of dental diseases and determine the overall state of dental health • Seek consultation with dental specialists, such as pediatric dentists, orthodontists, endodontists, or periodontists when appropriate • Show patients how to use recommended devices for orthodontics and dental appliances, such as retainers and dentures and educate on the importance of good oral hygiene • Determine and diagnose oral diseases and provide appropriate treatment for common dental problems including root canals, surgical extractions, cleanings, and restoration • Coordinate and perform preventive dental care treatments such as sealants, x-rays, flossing, fillings, and fluoride applications, and cosmetic dental services such as whitening when indicated • Diagnose and treat patients with oral diseases with a focus on prevention • Provide dentistry services such as periodontal therapy, root canals, extractions, fillings, bridges, crowns, implants, sleep appliances, and ortho • Educate patients about oral hygiene and preventive dental care • Use dental instruments safely and effectively to avoid accidents • Stay abreast with the latest developments in the dental field • Examine patients, obtain a medical history, and develop treatment plans • Monitor patient progress and maintain treatment records • Work with the clinic team to provide quality patient care services • Address clinical issues promptly and accurately Qualifications: • A Doctor of Dental Surgery/DDS or Doctor of Dental Medicine/ DMD degree from an ADA accredited dental school, and a Bachelor’s degree are required • Board Certified and/or Board Eligible in General Dentistry • Current and unrestricted state license in good standing • Up-to-date knowledge of dental standards and guidelines, public health standards, and dental medicine trends and advances is desired • Strong bedside manner and great communication skills are necessary Compensation: $175,000 - $300,000
