Responsibilities: • Implement and coordinate preventive dental care treatments such as flossing, fillings, sealants, x-rays, and fluoride applications, and cosmetic dental services such as whitening when indicated • Instruct patients on the use of recommended devices for orthodontics and dental appliances, such as dentures and retainers and educate on the importance of good oral hygiene • Refer patient to dental specialists such as pediatric dentists, orthodontists, endodontists, and periodontists when appropriate • Manage dental hygienists, associate dentists, dental assistants, and administrative staff, and communicate with support staff regarding patient care plans • Assess the patients’ overall dental health and look for presence of dental diseases, by thoroughly examining the patients’ teeth using diagnostic tools, procedures, and instruments • Diagnose and treat patients with oral diseases with a focus on prevention • Provide dentistry services such as periodontal therapy, root canals, extractions, fillings, bridges, crowns, implants, sleep appliances, and ortho • Educate patients about oral hygiene and preventive dental care • Use dental instruments safely and effectively to avoid accidents • Stay abreast with the latest developments in the dental field • Examine patients, obtain a medical history, and develop treatment plans • Monitor patient progress and maintain treatment records • Work with the clinic team to provide quality patient care services • Address clinical issues promptly and accurately Qualifications: • State license that is current, unrestricted, and in good standing • Board Certified and/or Board Eligible in General Dentistry • Additional certifications required: CPR, BLS, and NPI • DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) or DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) degree from an ADA accredited dental school, and a Bachelor’s degree are required • Should be computer proficient Compensation: $175,000 - $300,000
