_ Department:_ Endoscopy

** Location:** Henry Ford Rochester - 1101 W University Drive Rochester, MI 48307

** Schedule:** Contingent / No weekends

_ Shift:_ 8a-430p

Supports endoscopic procedures by preparing the equipment, field and managing specimens. Responsibilities: Prepares patients for procedures by reviewing medical history, appropriately positioning patient and cleaning/shaving/numbing testing sites as appropriate

Interprets, describes and reports test results. Recognizes recording errors and artifacts and reacts appropriately.

Monitors patient prior to, during and after procedures and promptly reports any abnormal findings in patient's condition.

Prepares and maintains equipment, supplies and lab area.

Qualifications

** EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED** : High School diploma equivalency with 1 year of cumulative experience OR associate's degree/technical degree required.

** CERTIFICATION/LICENSURES REQUIRED** :

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.

• PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Endoscopy experience
