    Endpoints News is the biotech and pharmaceutical industry's most important source of daily news, and we're looking for a newsroom leader to help manage and edit our daily and weekly publications. 

    You'll have a wide slate of responsibilities: Working with our newsletter leads to coordinate daily coverage, helping set priorities for our regular publications and special editions, and getting your hands deep into copy every day to coach journalists and improve their writing and reporting. Our reporters are biotech and pharma specialists, and your knowledge of the sector should be on par with theirs. A proven ability to improve copy and a quick set of hands is a must.

    The right candidate will bring a vision for our coverage, thrive in a fast-moving, deadline-driven newsroom, and be able to switch from perfecting a nut graf to strategizing medical conference coverage and back again.

    This role reports to the executive editor, and will work closely with our other editorial leads on coverage plans and reporting targets, to help identify talent inside and outside the newsroom, and take our stories to the next level. Candidates should have 7+ years of experience, including at least 3 years as an editor.

    What we offer:

    • Paid holidays: The entire company is off on MLK Day, Washington’s Birthday, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, the 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, and New Year’s Day. On the days between Christmas and New Year’s Day, we work “half-time”.

    • Paid time off (PTO): Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) per calendar year, earned as you accrue time with the company.

    • 401K Plan: Endpoints will match 100% of the first 3% of an employee’s contribution; followed by 50% match of the next 2%.

    • Health insurance: You are eligible for participation in Endpoints’ employer-based HMO/PPO plans, with the company covering 60% of your premiums.

    • Dental, Vision, Basic Life and AD&D, Long-Term Disability and Short-Term Disability: You are eligible for participation in these plans with the company covering 100% of your premiums.
