Endpoints News has become a daily habit for biopharma specialists since its founding 7 years ago. Over 160,000 subscribers depend on our relentless reporting covering the business of drug R&D and marketing. It’s an exciting field where staying on top of the news is important.
The revenue model at Endpoints has three parts: subscriptions, advertising, and events. Each division plays a major role and works collaboratively to deliver value to subscribers. The VP, Events will lead their department and be responsible for the development and execution of all Endpoints events.
This is a new role created to support the growth of our events business, which is comprised of 4 global hybrid franchises (Endpoints at #JPM, Endpoints at #BIO, Endpoints 11, EUBIO) plus a suite of virtual conferences and webinars.
We take pride in putting on a good show. Endpoints events are powered by the connection we have to our audience. They show up with energy, ambition, and a sense of purpose. We’ve got a track record of convening biopharma’s movers and shakers. This was all built organically without paid marketing outside of the Endpoints News audience.
Now, we’re aiming for the next level and seeking a recognized talent to drive the effort. The VP, Events will develop and execute a strategy to cement Endpoints events as storied franchises in biopharma. Earlier this year, Endpoints News joined the Financial Times family and we’re on a mission to deliver the best news products and event experiences for specialists.
This role would join Endpoints’ Key Management Team. You’d report to Arsalan Arif, CEO/Founder, and work alongside all senior executives.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a strategy for growing Endpoints events
Manage a team of event planners and producers
Collaborate with sales, design, and engineering to create superior experiences
Key Metrics:
Event sponsorship revenue
Delegate revenue
Delegate quality and attendance
Sponsor and delegate satisfaction
Qualifications:
5+ years demonstrated track record of success in events
Experience leading a multifunction B2B events team from content, marketing, sales, and operations
An understanding into the changing dynamics in B2B event industry, with an eye to developments in digital event formats and technology

Company Holidays: The entire company is off on MLK Day, Washington’s Birthday, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, the 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, and New Year’s Day. On the days between Christmas and New Year’s Day, we work half-time

Salary range: $145 - 188K
