  • Responsibilities

    The Finishing Support position manually inserts or packs out special projects, damaged forms, forms too small to run on Inserter, etc. using job specifications, special components, and other shipping and packaging instructions to produce a high-quality product, which is sent to the customer.

    1. Packs-out wrapped, inserted, or loose forms by organizing them according to control numbers and shipping and packaging instructions to ensure the quantity and addresses are correct prior to shipping.  2. Hand stuffs jobs according to job specifications and by using special components to complete jobs that cannot be run on the inserters due to page count and form size.  Utilizes EPIC,  production binders, Finishing Clerk / Expeditor, and Production Coordinator to ensure client specifications are followed correctly.  3. Organizes the work area to maintain a safe and clean environment.  4. Acts as take-out for the accumulator.

     

    Other Position Responsibilities: 

    1. May include other duties as assigned. 

     

    STARTING WAGE: $12.25/hr

     

    AVAILABLE POSITIONS:

    Day shift

    • Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, & Saturday 8:00am-4:00pm

    Swing shift - $1.00/hr shift differential

    • Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, & Saturday 6:00pm-4:00am OR 4:00pm-2:00am

    Swing shift - $1.00/hr shift differential

    • Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, & Saturday 4:00pm-12:00am

    Swing shift - $1.00/hr shift differential

    • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday 4:00pm-12:00am

    D shift - $1.50/hr shift differential

    • Monday 5:00pm-11:00pm. Friday, Saturday, & Sunday 5:00pm-5:00am

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Work with engineering, product management, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to obtain product and/or process familiarization and specific documentation requirements and information.

    • Photograph products and/or develop graphics to augment textual information.

    • Write/develop accurate and complete customer-facing documentation for new and existing products.

    • Write/develop accurate and complete procedure documentation to support the Company’s quality and environmental management systems.

    • Write accurate test instructions to support the company’s work instruction process.

    • Follow style standards for customer-facing documentation, procedure documentation, and test instructions. Ensure writing style of customer-facing documentation, procedure documentation, and test instructions is simple, clear, concise, grammatically correct, and written for the intended audience and purpose.

    • Revise existing documentation based on product changes documented in Engineering Change orders (ECOs) and/or Document Change/Creation Requests (DCRs).

    • Ensure accurate control of customer-facing, procedure documentation, and test instructions to support the Company’s quality and environmental management system requirements.

    • Provide input on processes, procedures, materials, and services to support innovation and continuous improvement.

    • Support the product design and development processes.

    • Lead/participate in continuous improvement activities.

    • Support continuous improvement efforts with the team and promote healthy, respectful communications.

    • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
