    Overview

    We are seeking a driven and tech-enabled Inside Sales Representative to generate and qualify new business opportunities within the commercial clean energy sector. This role is responsible for outbound prospecting, lead qualification, and setting high-quality meetings for the outside sales team.

    This is a high-activity, performance-based role ideal for individuals who excel at outreach, follow-up, and pipeline development. Candidates who effectively leverage CRM systems and AI tools to improve efficiency and results will stand out. This role would be a competitive base salary plus uncapped commission (performance-driven earning potential).

    Key Responsibilities

    Prospect, identify, and qualify new business opportunities through outbound and inbound efforts

    Engage decision-makers to understand operational needs, energy challenges, and project goals

    Schedule qualified meetings and coordinate handoff to outside sales representatives

    Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system

    Build and manage a consistent pipeline of commercial prospects

    Collaborate with internal teams to improve conversion rates and customer experience

    Communicate market feedback, customer pain points, and trends to leadership

    Meet or exceed activity and performance targets

    Required Qualifications

    Strong verbal and written communication skills

    Excellent organizational and time management abilities

    Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset

    Ability to build rapport quickly and handle rejection professionally

    Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment

    Strong attention to detail and follow-through

    Preferred Qualifications

    2–4 years of inside sales, business development, or lead generation experience

    Experience in clean energy, solar, energy storage, HVAC, or related industries strongly preferred

    Familiarity with commercial (B2B) sales cycles

    Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)

    Proven ability to meet or exceed sales metrics or quotas
