    Summary:
    Results-driven sales professional responsible for driving HVAC and building automation projects through a consultative approach. This role focuses on identifying client needs, delivering tailored technical solutions, and demonstrating measurable energy savings and ROI. Success requires strong technical knowledge, financial acumen, and the ability to build long-term relationships with commercial and institutional clients. **

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in HVAC and building automation projects.
    • Conduct site assessments and collaborate with engineering teams to develop tailored solutions.
    • Present ROI analyses, energy savings models, and financial justifications to decision-makers.
    • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and close.
    • Stay current on utility rebates, incentive programs, and energy regulations.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with facility managers, building owners, and consultants.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
    • Respond promptly and professionally to all potential customer inquiries and needs.
    • Maintain daily communication with your manager and remain available for redirection as needed.
    • Fulfill other duties and tasks as assigned by management. **

    Experience and Skills:**
    • 5+ years in HVAC energy-related sales roles.
    • Proven ability to sell complex solutions with measurable ROI.
    • Familiarity with LEED, ASHRAE standards, and energy modeling tools (e.g., EnergyPro, eQUEST).
    • History of working with building owners, property managers, and institutional clients (schools, hospitals, government buildings).
    • Experience collaborating with engineering teams to develop scopes of work and technical proposals.
    • Deep understanding of HVAC systems (chillers, boilers, air handlers, VRF systems), BAS, controls, and sustainability practices.
    • Strong negotiation and closing skills; experience managing long sales cycles.
    • Ability to develop ROI analyses and understand rebates/incentives.
    • Skilled in identifying customer pain points and tailoring solutions.
    • Understanding timelines, budgeting, and coordination.
    • Ability to deliver compelling presentations and write technical proposals. **
