    We’re a leading supplier of wood components for apartment buildings and senior living facilities. We’re looking for an experienced Wood Framing Systems Engineer to join us in Markle, IN. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with architects and project managers to understand design requirements for each project. • Use specialized software and tools to create efficient and structurally sound wood truss designs. • Analyze load calculations and assess the structural integrity of wood truss systems. • Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and regulations. • Collaborate with production teams to provide support and guidance during the fabrication and assembly of wood trusses. • Conduct site visits to assess construction progress and address any design or engineering challenges. • Evaluate and resolve any issues or concerns related to wood truss design and performance. • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in wood truss engineering. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. • Proficiency in CAD software and specialized wood truss design software. • Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction practices. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Effective communication and collaboration abilities. • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision. Compensation: $60,000 - $75,000 yearly
