Job Description
This position is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the exterior grounds. They will also support to the facilities department as a materials handler. The team member will maintain stock levels in the shop and maintain overall shop organization to improve inventory controls. The team member will also be responsible for changing air filters throughout the property.
Qualifications
• May assist in removal and disposal of old equipment and trash in the shop. • Assist techs, as needed on project. • Trash runs around the exterior of the property. • Operate a weed trimmer. • Spread salt on sidewalks and roadways during winter months. • May perform general maintenance duties to ensure a clean and safe facility. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times. • Ensures the correct parts/materials are pulled for work orders. • Signs out parts and equipment. • Must be physically able to lift, load and un-load materials. • Must be able to stand, bend and walk frequently. • Must be able to lift, carry and move materials or heavy objects up to 100+ lbs. • Performs preventive maintenance procedures on building equipment on a scheduled basis. • Responds to emergency maintenance requests as required. • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral and diagram form. • Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Must be able to measure and inspect items for proper length, width, and shape. • Basic maintenance skills with concerns to plumbing, carpentry, electrical and painting.
