Job Description:
- Prepares and coordinates the plans and schedules for new or existing programs.
- Determines, monitors, and reviews costs, operational budgets and schedules, and manpower requirements.
- Supports and participates in negotiations with customer.
- Analyzes effects of projects upon various areas such as Engineering, Facilities, and the labor pool to determine the most practical and cost-efficient methods to obtain the required resources.
- Resolves proposal preparation problems and assesses the progress against established plans and parameters.
- Formulates and recommends corrective action measures such as schedule revisions, manpower adjustments, fund allocations, and work requirements.

Additional Job Description Information :
- This position is intended for the Advanced Manufacturing Dept. (E66) within the Specialty Engineering Team under E&D.
- The applicant will be responsible for a wide range of financial tasks, but not limited to; forecasting, project management, budgeting, invoicing, charge reconciliation and creating workflows.
- This position will regularly interact with engineering, manufacturing and supply chain management to complete said duties and will work within the program control group.
- Due to this being a new department, we are looking for a self-starter who enjoys documenting research and work in parallel to completing tasks. Also, someone that thrives in a fast pace learning environment and can work independently to drive tasks to ground.
Minimum Education/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of experience.
- Master’s Degree and 1 year of experience.
- 4 years of related exempt experience can be substituted for Bachelor’s degree.
- 8 years of non-related exempt experience can be substituted for Bachelor’s degree.
- An Apprentice Certificate or graduation from Navy Nuclear Power School can be substituted for Bachelor’s degree.
