    Position Overview

    Working under the direction of the Managing Director, this position manages all essential operational functions and activities including sales and marketing, human resource management, program instruction, schedule and inventory management and customer service.

    PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (the following list may not be all inclusive, additional responsibilities may be necessary)

    Assist with behavior management

    Assist customers and handle customer complaints

    Schedule employee assignments and hours of work

    Determine audit plan for observing classes in order to ensure overall quality of services provided

    Observe and evaluate the performance of employees during the instruction of classes

    Demonstrate appropriate knowledge of curriculum and act as lead and/or assistant instructor as required

    Ensure appropriate inventory is on hand/order inventory

    Perform employee time tracking including but not limited to, classes instructed, training, and absences

    Working knowledge of equipment

    Plan Program Schedule

    Recruiting and hiring staff

    Supervise Staff

    Training staff

    Marketing and Promoting Business

    Coordinate the use of equipment and deliver and pick-up equipment to instructors as required

    Preparation of supply kits and deliver to instructors as required

    Track and ensure instructors have completed all required certifications and submit to clients as required

    Communicate to the Managing Director any service problems

    SUPERVISION

    Work is performed under the direction of the Managing Director.

    WORK CONTACTS

    Daily interaction with employees, parents, and students will be standard.

    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    Knowledge

    Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.

    Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information systems.

    Knowledge of curriculum.

    Knowledge of equipment.

    Skills and Abilities

    Coordination―Adjusting actions in relation to others' actions.

    Time Management―Managing one's own time and the time of others.

    Ability to convey information effectively.

    Management of Material Resources―Obtaining and seeing to the appropriate use of equipment, facilities, and materials needed to do certain tasks.

    Active Listening―Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times

    Ability to prioritize work assignments

    Other Responsibilities

    Attend employee orientation and training sessions as required.

    Adheres to the policies and procedures of Engix.LLC and Engineering For Kids.

    Maintains strict confidentiality of client, company and personnel information.

    Perform other duties as assigned.
