Overview

Working with the Director, the position also contributes to the development and implementation of class curriculum and management of the classroom. This position typically oversees Assistant Teachers. The Lead Teacher is generally responsible for teaching classes and class preparation, as well as assisting in the training of assistant teachers. The Lead Teacher has to have great people skills, in addition to classroom management skills. The ideal candidate is a self motivated worker, who is looking to advance in a growing company. This position requires someone with confidence, not afraid to speak in front of students and teachers, and someone who knows is willing to put in time to become a proficient teacher in the STEM field. This position has growth opportunities to Site Manager, Field Expert, and Curriculum Development.

Suggested Duties and Responsibilities

Manages the day-to-day operations of the classes. Prepares lessons, controls inventory, handles logistics while managing assistant teachers and students.
