CNC Manufacturing Engineering Manager

A growing precision manufacturing company is seeking a CNC Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead CNC programming and manufacturing engineering in a high-mix, precision machining environment. This is a leadership role that combines hands-on technical expertise with process improvement and team development.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor CNC programmers and manufacturing engineers
• Oversee CNC programming, tooling, fixture design, and setup documentation
• Support production by troubleshooting machining and programming issues
• Standardize engineering processes and improve efficiency
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce setup time, scrap, and downtime
• Partner with production, quality, planning, and estimating teams on new and existing projects

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of CNC programming/manufacturing engineering experience
• 3+ years of leadership experience in precision machining or contract manufacturing
• Strong CAD/CAM experience (Mastercam, SolidWorks, or similar)
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, process improvement, and CNC machining best practices
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
