Engineering Manager (Bilingual – English & Chinese Required)
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Engineering Manager to oversee all engineering operations of our full-service hotel. The ideal candidate must be bilingual (English and Chinese), possess strong communication skills, and have solid knowledge of low-voltage systems and IT infrastructure within a hospitality environment.
This role is responsible for ensuring the hotel’s physical plant, building systems, and technology infrastructure operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily engineering and maintenance operations
Manage preventive maintenance programs
Supervise building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety systems
Manage and troubleshoot low-voltage systems (CCTV, access control, Wi-Fi, network infrastructure, AV systems, POS, etc.)
Coordinate IT-related support and vendor relationships
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and brand standards
Manage capital projects and renovation initiatives
Develop and manage department budgets
Lead and train the engineering team
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of engineering management experience in hospitality
Bilingual in English and Chinese (required)
Strong knowledge of low-voltage systems and hotel IT infrastructure
Experience with PMS, network systems, CCTV, access control, and building automation systems preferred
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
