    Title: Engineering Manager

    Shift: Full Time, first shift

    Salary: $130,000 - 140,000

    Engineering Manager Role: This role leads our client’s engineering function by driving cost improvements, process optimization, and equipment initiatives while supporting quality and maintenance. It exists to oversee project execution, solve operational problems, and ensure efficient manufacturing capabilities on the plant floor.

    Engineering Manager Responsibilities:

    • Develop and evaluate manufacturing methods to maximize plant capabilities and efficiency

    • Analyze workflow and space utilization to design optimal equipment layouts

    • Partner with maintenance, production, and quality teams to ensure safe production

    • Coordinate new equipment requirements and oversee installation and validation

    • Research and implement projects related to new products or process improvements

    • Utilize defined project methodologies to plan scope, costs, and deliverables

    • Provide direction and guidance to Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance teams

    • Mentor and develop staff while encouraging ownership and accountability

    • Promote a safe and organized work environment by enforcing safety policies

    Engineering Manager Reporting Relationships: This position reports to the Plant Manager. The Engineering Manager provides direct supervision to Engineer(s), Engineering Intern(s)/Co-Op(s), and Engineering Technician(s).

    About You:

    • Possess 5 to 7 years of manufacturing experience in an engineering role

    • Hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field

    • Demonstrate proven leadership experience and ability to build rapport

    • Ability to operate in a flat organizational structure with shared accountabilities

    • Work autonomously as an individual contributor or as part of a team

    • Exhibit strong project management, analytical, and communication skills

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with AutoCAD

    • Display detail-oriented and process-oriented mindset with multitasking abilities

    • Willingness to work various shift schedules to complete projects
