Position Summary:
The Engineering Manager will lead the engineering team in developing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, quality, and cost-efficiency within a CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) environment. This leader will play a critical role in driving automation transformation efforts to modernize operations and support long-term scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of engineers and technical professionals.

• Lead automation transformation initiatives, identifying and implementing technology solutions that streamline production and reduce manual intervention.

• Oversee the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development and operations, to ensure manufacturability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

• Apply lean manufacturing principles to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

• Develop and manage capital projects, with a focus on automation and process optimization, while overseeing the engineering budget.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

• 7+ years of engineering experience within a CPG or similar high-volume manufacturing environment.

• Demonstrated success leading automation or digital transformation projects.

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing systems, automated technologies, and process design.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
