Position Summary:
We’re looking for an experienced Membrane Switch Prepress Design Engineering Supervisor to lead a small, skilled membrane switch prepress design team in a manufacturing environment. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll balance technical prepress and engineering work with team supervision, process improvement, and cross‑functional collaboration. What You’ll Do:
Lead and prioritize daily work for a 2–3 person Prepress Graphic Design team
Ensure all membrane switch designs meet customer specifications and manufacturing requirements
Coordinate and track engineering job flow to meet production deadlines
Stay hands‑on by completing prepress and engineering work, including complex jobs
Train, coach, and mentor team members to improve quality and efficiency
Communicate job status and issues with internal teams and customers
Identify and implement process improvements
Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment
Job Requirements:
Required Qualifications
3–5 years of membrane switch manufacturing or prepress design experience in a manufacturing environment
2 + years of supervisory or team lead experience
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and AutoCAD
Strong organizational and communication skills
Experience working in ISO or regulated manufacturing environments
Preferred Experience
Electrical engineering background
RIP software experience
2-year or 4-year degree in electrical engineering, printing technology, prepress graphic design, or related field
Physical Requirements:This role is primarily office‑based and requires extended computer use, with occasional standing, walking, and lifting (up to 40 lbs with assistance). Specific visual abilities required for this position include color and visual acuity correctible to 20/20.
