    Currently we are seeking a Product Specialist to join our team and be an essential part of our manufacturing team. The Product Specialist is responsible for supporting chassis configuration, maintaining accurate documentation and bills of materials (BOM), and ensuring seamless integration with OEM chassis for New Way products. This role involves collaboration with engineering, sales, and manufacturing teams to optimize product configurator accuracy, support technical updates, and ensure the best practices in configurator management.

    Your Role in Our Mission:

    Maintain comprehensive documentation for OEM chassis integration with New Way products.

    Perform weight distributions for New Way products across various chassis OEMs.

    Learn and develop CAD (SolidWorks) chassis integration models.

    Support BOM development and validation to maintain accuracy in configurator support.

    Update and validate product knowledge for both technical configurator support and marketing purposes.

    Maintain and develop new product BOMs for integration within Epicor ERP configurator.

    Verify and validate BOM accuracy post-engineering changes.

    Work closely with Sustaining Engineering, New Product Development, and Manufacturing Engineering teams to ensure configurator data accuracy.

    Modify instructional documents to reflect best practices in configurator management and BOM processes.

    Provide clear technical support and updates to sales teams, distributors, and customers.

    Create presentation materials for internal and external communication, leveraging Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools.

    To Perform this Job Successfully:

    Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Product Development, or related field preferred.

    Experience with BOMs, configurator software, and ERP systems (Epicor preferred).

    Familiarity with CAD software, preferably SolidWorks, to develop integration models.

    Experience with Epicor ERP system for BOM and configurator management.

    Knowledge of C# programming language is a plus.

    Working knowledge of Power BI for data visualization and analysis.

    Strong communication and presentation skills.

    Detail-oriented with excellent documentation skills.

    Strong interpersonal relationship skills and the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.

    Travel up to 30% of the time.
