As a Production Engineering Supervisor, you’ll lead a team of 10 production staff to deliver innovative products that empower research facilities worldwide, positioning us as a leader in the vivarium space and adjacent lab and hospital markets. With full autonomy to own production processes, from pioneering product improvements to revolutionary workflow solutions, you’ll collaborate directly with Colorado’s top manufacturing companies specializing in injection molding, metal manufacturing, and automation.     Key Responsibilities

    Lead, train, and supervise a team of 10 production team members, fostering collaboration, accountability, and adherence to quality and performance standards.

    Assist with incoming inspections to verify the quality of parts and materials, ensuring compliance with specifications.

    Identify and develop product improvements to enhance quality, functionality, manufacturability, and market competitiveness

    Utilize SolidWorks to update and maintain accurate engineering drawings to support production accuracy and process improvements, with support from the 4-person engineering department.

    Design and implement new production workflows to streamline operations, reduce bottlenecks, and enhance throughput.

    Identify, design, and develop custom fixtures to improve assembly efficiency, precision, and consistency.

    Assist Scheduling Coordinator in performing time studies. Updating the system as production efficiencies are implemented.

    Evaluate and implement innovative warehouse and inventory management techniques to optimize stock control, minimize waste, and reduce costs.

    Lead initiatives to "find margin" by optimizing warehouse operations and production processes to achieve cost savings and operational efficiency.

    Collaborate with leading local Colorado manufacturing partners in injection molding, metal manufacturing, and automation to integrate cutting-edge solutions into production.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

    4+ years of experience in production supervision, manufacturing engineering, or process improvement within a manufacturing environment.

    Proficiency in SolidWorks and demonstrated experience updating engineering drawings.

    Proven leadership experience managing production teams of 5 or more.

    Strong knowledge of production workflows, fixture design, and inventory management systems.

    Analytical mindset with a focus on identifying cost-saving opportunities and process efficiencies.

    Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

    Ability to work in a small business and adapt to changing priorities.
