We’re seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to oversee full project lifecycles for complex equipment installations. This role requires a hands-on leader with a background in assembly systems, material handling, and cross-functional coordination. The right candidate will manage multiple concurrent projects from concept through commissioning, ensuring technical accuracy, schedule integrity, and budget alignment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead planning and execution of automotive assembly line projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and team coordination
Oversee mechanical and electrical integration of automated equipment, ensuring alignment with OEM specifications and customer requirements
Serve as primary point of contact between engineering, manufacturing, and client teams
Coordinate resource allocation across engineering disciplines and vendors to meet project milestones
Utilize MS Project or equivalent tools to track progress, identify risks, and report status updates
Drive project documentation, including change orders, test plans, and system validation reports
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or related field
Minimum 5 years of project management experience in automotive or industrial automation environments
Familiarity with test equipment, FMEA processes, and CAD-based layouts
Experience managing OEM clients and delivering large-scale capital projects
Strong understanding of material handling and assembly systems integration
Ability to lead technical discussions and drive problem resolution under pressure
Proficient in project tracking tools such as MS Project and ERP systems
