We’re supporting a leading power infrastructure engineering and services firm that’s seeking a Project Manager to lead complex, multi-discipline engineering projects supporting power delivery systems. This role is responsible for full project lifecycle leadership, including scope, schedule, cost, risk, quality, and client relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage engineering contracts and projects ensuring all deliverables meet client expectations and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and manage project budgets, milestone schedules, resource plans, and monthly progress reports for clients and subconsultants.
- Lead stakeholder engagement, proactively identify and mitigate risks, negotiate solutions, and maintain strong long-term client relationships.
- Oversee QA/QC, safety compliance, and adherence to applicable codes, standards, and permitting requirements.
- Coordinate field activities, including site visits, commissioning support, and construction documentation.
- Mentor engineering and project teams, contribute to process improvement and standardization, and support cross-functional collaboration.
- Lead onboarding and training efforts and promote knowledge sharing across the PMO.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of project management experience in utilities engineering or a closely related technical field.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, or a related discipline
- Professional Engineer (PE) license and/or PMP certification strongly preferred.
- Strong background in contract management, analytical problem-solving, and managing complex, multi-discipline projects.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and client relationship skills.
