    We are seeking an Engineering Technician IV (30084) who will support the assessment, modification, overhaul, maintenance, repair, and upgrade of fielded EW systems. The ideal candidate will be able to perform the following duties:

    This role requires in-person support.

    Duties:

    • Conduct testing and evaluation of EW systems, subsystems, equipment and components.
    • Routine repair, retrofit, systems integration, calibration and testing.
    • In-line repair and testing.
    • Operation of test equipment.
    • Coordination of test schedules.
    • Preparing inputs for test plans.
    • Reviewing test plans and procedures.
    • Conducting or monitoring system, subsystem, equipment or component testing.
    • Adjusting units under test.
    • Analyzing test results.
    • Determining valid recommendations and conclusions based on test data.
    • Preparing formal reports and related tasks required for life cycle support.

    Desired Education:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent.

    Desired Experience:

    • Six (6) years of experience in the duties listed above OR Associates degree with four (4) years of experience.
    • Skilled in performing technical tasks (ex. cable assembly, soldering, electro-mechanical assembly, etc.)
    • Demonstrates understanding of production and engineering documentation (drawings, schematics, BOMs, test procedures etc.). Demonstrates the ability to define and implement process improvements and take leadership roles in specific task areas.
    • Demonstrated understanding of interfacing processes.

    This position is covered by the Service Contract Labor Standard under a Wage Determination. As such Under the SCA selected candidates are entitled to both the hourly rate aforementioned and a health and welfare benefit. Precise Systems is meeting that benefit through the use of a bona fide plan which includes certain insurance coverage.

    Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

    • Knowledge of risk management processes (e.g., methods for assessing and mitigating risk).

    • Knowledge of cybersecurity and privacy principles.
    • Knowledge of cyber threats and vulnerabilities. Knowledge of specific operational impacts of cybersecurity lapses.
    • Knowledge of industry-standard and organizationally accepted analysis principles and methods.
    • Knowledge of information technology (IT) architectural concepts and frameworks.
    • Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements.
    • Knowledge of resource management principles and techniques. Knowledge of system life cycle management principles, including software security and usability.
    • Knowledge of how information needs and collection requirements are translated, tracked, and prioritized across the extended enterprise.
    • Knowledge of Supply Chain Risk Management Practices (NIST SP 800-161). Knowledge of import/export control regulations and responsible agencies for the purposes of reducing supply chain risk.
    • Knowledge of supply chain risk management standards, processes, and practices.
    • Knowledge of risk threat assessment.
    • Knowledge of information technology (IT) supply chain security and supply chain risk management policies, requirements, and procedures.
    • Knowledge of organizational process improvement concepts and process maturity models (e.g., Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) for Development, CMMI for Services, and CMMI for Acquisitions).
    • Knowledge of service management concepts for networks and related standards (e.g., Information Technology Infrastructure Library, current version [ITIL]).
    • Knowledge of how to leverage research and development centers, think tanks, academic research, and industry systems.
    • Knowledge of information technology (IT) acquisition/procurement requirements.
