A food manufacturer in the Greater Wilkes-Barre area is seeking an Engineering & Maintenance Manager to lead plant maintenance and engineering efforts in a hands-on, onsite leadership role.

This position oversees daily maintenance operations, capital and improvement projects, utilities and facility systems, and the ongoing reliability of production equipment. The right person will be equally comfortable leading people, driving projects, and spending time on the plant floor supporting operations directly.

Key areas of focus:

• Maintenance leadership and equipment reliability

• Engineering projects, installations, and continuous improvement

• Preventive and predictive maintenance programs

• Utilities and facility systems

• Budgeting, cost control, and vendor/contractor coordination

• Safety, quality, and regulatory compliance in a food manufacturing environment

What we are looking for:

• Several years of leadership experience in food manufacturing maintenance and engineering

• Strong background with plant equipment, utilities, and facility systems

• Hands-on management style

• Experience leading teams, projects, and plant-level improvements

Compensation:

• Base salary approximately $140,000-$160,000

• Bonus potential
