    Responsibilities:

    • Managing and supervising Seattle marketing team’s workload and deliverables while meeting multiple deadlines.
    • Preparing high quality responses to prime and subconsultant proposals and federal SF 330’s.
    • Organizing and coordinating elements of complex proposals with limited supervision.
    • Working with technical staff on completing go/no-go forms, attending pre-proposal meetings; assisting with in-house win strategy sessions; assisting with shortlist interview preparations, and attending document debrief sessions.
    • Maintaining brand identity in marketing materials.
    • Working with marketing team to create and maintain boilerplate marketing materials (e.g. resumes, project descriptions, project photographs, etc.).
    • Working with marketing and technical teams to write and produce collateral materials and SOQs.
    • Researching and generating potential business leads and pursuits in tracking databases and publications and preparing weekly reports.
    • Inputting, maintaining, and developing templates of resumes and projects for marketing’s Cosential database.
    • Creating advertisements and graphics.
    • Coordinating special events (e.g., conferences, exhibits, lectures, etc.).
    • Planning, conducting, and coordinating awards submissions and presentations, press releases, and articles in trade publications and local media.
    • Interacting with and facilitating communications with internal staff, clients, and vendors at all levels.
    • Actively managing inner office meetings with staff.
    • Supporting overall marketing and company initiatives as needed.
    • Performing other duties as assigned by supervisor or office manager.

    Requirements:

    • College degree in marketing, business, journalism, communications, or related field.
    • Minimum 15 years’ experience in marketing, communications, or related field.
    • The last 10 years should be in a corporate environment with an Architectural/ Engineering services firm.
    • The ability to think strategically and help teams develop marketing, pursuit, and proposal strategies.
    • Ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while consistently leading a marketing team to produce documents of exceptional quality.
    • Ability to organize large amounts of content into strategic marketing proposals and other materials for clients.
    • Visualization, layout, and/or graphic design skills that maintain brand identity with experience using Adobe Cloud Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat) and Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Explorer, Visio, etc.)
    • Currently located in, or willing to move to, the Seattle area.
    • Work in the office 3 to 5 days a week.
    • Superior ability to communicate tactfully and diplomatically, both written and verbally.
    • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with an ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
    • Excellent writing, proofreading, and editing skills.
    • Creative with an exceptional attention for detail.
    • Must be able to balance multiple deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
    • Good understanding of Architectural, Engineering, and Construction industry.
    • Must be able to work independently and collaboratively with technical staff, department heads, and office managers.
    • Capable of leading a diverse and creative staff.

    Preferred (but not a deal breaker):

    • Demonstrated proficiency in Cosential Database, especially personnel and projects modules, and a Client Relationship Management Database.
    • Experience with lead tracking systems (GovWin, IMS)
    • Currently managing or leading a marketing team.
