    Job Description:

    As a Civil Group Manager at Our Company, you will be at the forefront of a dynamic and forward-thinking engineering team. Your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities, overseeing a team of three talented individuals, each with unique qualifications and potential.


    Key Responsibilities:


    1\. Team Leadership: You will lead and mentor a team of professionals, including a fresh graduate Drafter, a licensed Professional Engineer (PE), and an individual preparing to sit for their PE exam. Fostering an environment that promotes diversity, teamwork, and growth is central to this role.


    2\. Technical Oversight: You will provide technical guidance and expertise in commercial work, grading, utilities, and other projects. You will ensure quality assurance and quality control in project deliverables and may contribute from a code and design standpoint when needed.


    3\. Mentorship: Your passion for personal and professional development will be instrumental in helping our younger team members grow and flourish in their careers.


    4\. Business Development: Over time, you will play a pivotal role in assisting with business development and proposal generation. Your insights and experience will help our company continue its growth and success.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
    • 10+ years of experience in the field of civil engineering
    • Professional Engineer (PE) License
    • 5+ years of experience as a project manager or equivalent
    • Strong organizational skills
