We service companies in the Automotive, Medical Device and Aviation & Aerospace industries placing the engineers responsible for building these products. We are a startup here in Chicago and we are financially backed by a UK-based investment firm who have an outstanding track record of building recruitment businesses. Our two founders (Christopher Atiyah & Mark Znowski) have a combined 30 years experience of building world-leading recruitment teams and their goal is to grow this venture more ambitiously and aggressively than theyve ever done before. We were started in August and now we are up to 10 employees and are ready for our next growth phase for up to 20 employees by the end of the year. Put simply, a career with EngTal will change your life. Job description This role is perfect for anyone looking for a career in sales. Youll be approaching firms who hire engineering talent within regulated industries and selling Engtals suit of recruitment services. Our client base ranges from SMEs with 10 people right up to Fortune 100 companies. As well as this youll also be building a networking of talented, highly skilled engineers who are passively open to new roles. The primary duties of the role are below: * New business development from prospecting to face-to-face meetings and all new business development activities in between * Account management once accounts have been onboarded youll be responsible for negotiating terms of business, account managing, upselling and maintaining this business * Attending industry networking events being an expert in your field and technical area is essential in this role and attending industry networking events is a great way to immerse yourself into it * Marketing mapping & business strategy * Marketing & advertising * Process management interview preparation, debrief and closing The position itself is a varied blend between business to business sales and high-level recruiting / headhunting. Its engaging, challenging and rewarding and offers career opportunities like no other. Essential requirements: * 12 months + experience in business to business sales * Proven track record of success in a sales environment * Positive, ambitious and motivated personality * Ability to work from a downtown Chicago location with 20% travel to client site * Excellent communication skills, written & verbal
