    SUMMARY

    Looking for an experienced water industry professional to join our Colorado Water Team as Senior Project Manager and Client Service Manager for our developing Colorado portfolio. With the full support of a century-old engineering consulting firm that is rapidly growing in the water market, the successful candidate will help develop and lead business planning, pursue diverse and custom water and wastewater projects, build, and maintain outstanding client relationships, be active in industry activities and events, and learn and mentor as part of a growing full services team.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Manage scope, budget, and schedule for a team of multi-disciplined (civil, process, structural, mechanical, electrical) project engineers, design engineers, and CAD Technicians in the development of various water business line projects
    • Manage and mentor teams, coordinating schedules, monitoring budgets, and ensuring the delivery of quality products that adhere to company standards.
    • Will entail taking projects from conceptual planning to bid ready documents, including design calculations, management and coordination of support discipline and sub consultant activities, coordination with regional offices and regulatory agencies.
    • Planning, analysis, and design of water distribution systems, including pumping and storage, and wastewater collection systems, including lift stations, and water and wastewater treatment plants
      • Support proposal development efforts and manage quality assurance and risk management
      • Orchestrate workshops, continue progress tracking, and keep up relations with clients.

      REQUIREMENTS

      • Master's degree in civil, chemical, biological, or environmental engineering
      • Ten or more years of similar technical experience with at least 3 years of project/team leadership
      • Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of Colorado
      • Previous experience in charge of water and wastewater designs, including full plans and specifications
      • Strong Communication skills as a leader and understanding of multi-disciplined practices
      • Periodic travel will be required on an as-needed basis for projects, conferences, and marketing
      • Prior Construction Management experience for local projects
      • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Project, and Outlook
