This growing East Region Aviation team is seeking an Aviation Project Manager/Office Leader that will be performing a wide array of aviation-related design, planning, project administration, and client management services for commercial and general aviation airports. *Positions needed in multiple locations including Tampa, Jacksonville, and Orlando, FL
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Market research and business development to create/expand industry relationships, pursue and win engineering and planning projects at commercial service and general aviation airports in Florida and the east coast.
- Project and client management for both horizontal and vertical design projects at commercial service and general aviation airports.
- Significant design and construction oversight for multiple commercial services and general aviation clients.
- Collaborating and/or coordinating design teams consisting of multi-discipline design engineers, planners, and technicians.
- Coordination with clients and funding agencies.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Licensed Professional Engineer in Florida
- 8+ years of total experience in civil engineering preferably aviation-specific experience.
- Previous experience managing multi-disciplined teams while overseeing airport improvement project execution
- Knowledge of design software packages such as (AutoCAD, Civil 3D or aviation specialty programs)
- Travel may be required with occasional overnight
