SUMMARY

This award-winning growing civil engineering firm is seeking an experienced Project Manager/Construction Manager to join the growing West Region as the West Region Collaborative Project Delivery Lead. This candidate must have diverse experience in water/wastewater and have both construction and design on projects. Must be located or open to relocation to Phoenix, AZ or Denver, CO.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Focus on established clients in Arizona and Colorado as well as pursue projects and new clients in the western US.
• Emphasis on Design-Build/Progressive Design-Build projects, as well as, client needs.
• Construction experience is required with an emphasis on construction management, scheduling and management of construction activities, and management of subcontractors.
• Expertise in contracting strategies and approaches for specific projects and provide QA/QC; this will include constructability reviews, review of engineering cost estimates, and review of construction schedules
• They will also assist with the development of proposals, including the construction approach, development of guaranteed maximum price (GMP) and cost estimates, and estimating level of effort.

REQUIREMENTS

• 8+ years of industry experience
• Engineering, Construction Management Degree, or similar
• Water/Wastewater Construction Experience
• Design Build/Progressive Design Build Experience
• Experience managing construction projects and construction subconsultants
• Experience developing and managing construction contracts with an emphasis on CPD
• Ideally, the candidate will be licensed as a Professional Engineer and have industry certifications such as those from DBIA.
• Cost estimating and pre-construction experience
• Experience preparing bids
• Located or willing to relocate to AZ, CO, NM, or UT

• 15+ years of industry experience
• Licensed Professional Engineer
• Experience managing Water/Wastewater design projects
• Experience developing design scope and fees
• CMAR Experience
• DBIA certified
• Located or willing to relocate to Phoenix or Denver
